Fremont -- Center of the Universe?

I did the Cheshiaud loop walk around Lake Union in Seattle today. It's always funny to be welcomed into the Fremont neighborhood with the sign that says "Welcome to Fremont -- Center of the Universe --Turn your watch ahead five minutes." Fremont is the home of a statute of Lenin. Need I say more about this quirky neighborhood?
