Nispero /Loquat

They are the first flowers to bloom, in fact it is easy to see them in December on the coast, of course. I like them because they brighten our gardens and they have a lovely aroma.
Loquats are unusual among fruit trees in that the flowers appear in the autumn or early winter, and the fruits are ripe at any time from early spring to early summer. Wikipedia
