Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 4b - Day 39

Looking through Bathwick Hill Bridge to the Kennet and Avon Canal, Bath

The frost was still on the ground this morning when I took the train into Bath to meet a friend for a walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal to the Holborne Museum for a cuppa at the garden café, before heading back to the station via the magnificent Great Pulteney Street and the River Avon footpath.

Before the pandemic I used to take the bus into Bath nearly every week, now a 9 minute train trip to the city feels like a mini holiday, one of my excuses for taking dozens of photos in the two hours I was in town, the other being the stunning weather that created mirror like images in the water. In extras, more canal scenes, reflections and shadows, Georgian architecture, and a tiny shadow selfie!

Take care, stay safe and well...

(Thank you for all the love for Mr Robin yesterday, very kind of you all.)
