On my way to Sydney.

Nice bright day so i set off to do some shopping up in Sydney.  The list was quite long and i know the Superstore there has way more to offer than Baddeck!   But was i disappointed!   Hardly any produce...lots of empty shelves...apparently due to high winds and weather, the trucks have been unable to cross the causeway and they haven't been able to for 3-4 days now!

Anyway, got most stuff and ordered the new Lonely Planet guide to Cuba...we're in planning mode!!!   won't be going till end of March, surely things will have died down a bit by then!   Definitely taking out cancellation insurance :)

I have included a shot from last evening in the extra!  it was a rather disturbing sight...a young seal pup up on the banks near the ferry...the guys said it had been there all day....why would a young seal pup do this?   I have no idea and it was still there around 6pm when we left!  I just felt so helpless!
