Ping pong duck

When my husband was a child, he had a test at school about nature and was asked for the bird's name. Because he did not know it, he made up a name; cheek duck, because of the white cheeks. I still have not been able to remember the name of the bird, I call it pingpong duck. It looks like he has two pingpong balls attached to his cheeks.

Common goldeneye is the correct name. My husband knows that, not me:-)
