Toasty day

The morning started with coffee with Sole - she is such an amazing woman. She's in a hard season of life. She popped back to ours to pray pre our team meeting with Stephen.
After school we went to the rocks by Claire, armed with cava. Today is the funeral of a close family member and she should have been in the UK to celebrate his life...unfortunately Covid ruined her plans and she wasn't able to get back. But after 2 negative tests and lots of space and fresh air, we met up and toasted his life. She thought he would have been pleased to think she was drinking cava by the sea in remembrance of him. A special moment to share with her.

Oh, question of the day today...when do you feel most in your element?? Good question hey?!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Sole having more spring in her step.
2) The kids discovering all sorts in the rock pools - including sea cucumbers...such weird things!
3) Hearing from Cami's mum that she'd had a good day. I had a tearful call from her mum once she'd dropped Camila off... The girls had a video call this afternoon to catchup on the news.
