We've got a bandsaw!

And it's a proper one, not a jigsaw mounted upside-down. My dad has been getting very enthusiastic about his woodworking projects recently. I also have plans for it!! But it is still in pieces at the moment waiting to be assembled. Needless to say the beautiful model in the above picture will not be allowed to help with that.

I have also recently learned how to use a hand planer which is great fun. Note: it is for holding in the hands and planing the wood, not for planing the hands.
