Parliament Hill

Stunning viewpoint across the whole City skyline.  I was tracing the source of the River Fleet to a series of streams on Hampstead Heath, some of which are dammed in the Hampstead ponds and some in the Highgate ponds. The water then disappears underground and is piped south. The two main streams combine in Camden Town then flow under Kings Cross and Clerkenwell before reaching the Thames just to the right of the Shard in the centre of the image.
