Museum of Scotland

We had a trip to Edinburgh to see the Vikings exhibition. One of the things I liked best was a large set of boat rivets, suspended by threads to show the outline of the boat. It would have made a good picture, but photography isn't allowed in the exhibition.

I like the modern museum building a lot. There are hidden stairways, and little windows that reveal the complex internal structure of the building. This picture was taken through a small window just a foot square.
