Schandeler Mill

The Schandeler Mill is a watermill in the district of Schandelen in the municipality of Heerlen in the Dutch province of Limburg.
The mill stood on the Caumerbeek.
However, the Caumerbeek is only a thin stream here, insufficient to power a water mill.
The mill was built in the 18th century. It was an overshot mill in use as a flour mill.
In 1955 the mill was dismantled.
The mill building has been a national monument since 1967.
