Shepherd's delight

Hector's puppy training was cancelled this afternoon so he got a bonus walk instead, just as the sun was setting. He actually ran for most of it, along the riverbank, being very good and coming when he was called.

Hector has been a bit unnerved recently as we've being making a few changes round the house, moving and adding furniture, etc, and he's not been very keen on my new study at all, refusing to stay in the room. However, today we took delivery of an area rug for it and this seems to have made all the difference (see Extras).
