I stopped by my local park again to get a better look at the newly returned flock of ducks. They seem to be mostly Mallards (Anas platyrhynchos), but there are some interesting hybrids that stand out among them. This one might be a domestic bibbed Mallard. It was difficult to isolate individual birds for better images because they all stay so close together when they are out of the water. I visit this place frequently for my walks, so I will have many opportunities to try again.
