One day at a time

A quiet lane

Walking the Station Walk in reverse today. (You will have seen the station on 14th January.)  This is significant because this way round the walk has a good climb up a steep bank (hill) before downhill all the way home. Going round the ‘easy way’ means a gentle increase in elevation before a steep walk downhill. (The view from the top of the bank was on 7th January.) I’m walking 13 miles for the Alzheimer’s Society in July to raise funds in memory of my mother-in-law who died just before Christmas.  She had dementia. I started asking for donations on 6th January and already have almost £1500! People have been very kind. But I’ve got to get fitter. That’s my aim.
