WELCOME SWALLOW (hirundo Tahitica)

Regulars to my bird pix will recall that I photographed a nest of welcome swallow youngsters under the Causeway bridge - these are the flying juveniles - all out and about doing what welcome swallows do - swooping and catching - the welcome bit is when you walk along and disturb an insect - strawberries and cream for a swallow and they'll get real close as you know ! They are pretty hard to get sharp in flight and I was pleased to get a series today - them hovering occasionally around a favourite post - this one made the cut
