Finished reading School of Love by Olivia Manning, the main lesson of which is that Life is a Rehearsal (perhaps, correct me if I'm wrong).
 Secondary lessons are:
     Vaccination saves lives.
     People are more loyal to cats than cats are to people.
     Some people grow up to be adults metaphorically and some don’t.
 
Have started reading Case Study by Graeme Macrae Burnet which is interesting.
