Hyacinth

After a week of glorious weather and high-count ‘photo-expeditions’, a dull day with a little indoor photography comes as something of a relief. 

I have a choice of subjects, but in the end go for a deliciously fragrant hyacinth, a thoughtful New Year gift from friends. 

Except for this, my only activity is the collection of a new steroid inhaler from the pharmacy to hopefully clear the cough and congestion that has been bothering me for months. Oh, and coffee with more members of the family calling to see my sister. It’s been a much-needed lazy day!
