Lungs of the world

Community tree planting on the far side of town today. This is the first time I have done something like this and it was great fun, but over far too soon! I felt so welcomed and met some interesting people, including a lovely French guy who was learning Hindi. I planted somewhere between 20 and 30 trees (mostly mountain ash and elder) but overall there are now 500 in this little patch! I hope all these little ones grow tall and strong!
