Mahonia

It is grandson George’s twenty-first birthday today. Where have those years gone? It seems no time at all since he was a toddler, and he used to come and stay with us. He and I used to play games from dawn to dusk. Now he is 6ft 6ins and at university. We are so proud of him.
He is spending the weekend in Brighton with his parents and his brother Jake. Tomorrow evening when they are on their way home we will meet them all at a restaurant not far from here, to help him round off his celebration weekend.
Very quiet here in contrast, with a wander round the garden for my photo. The mahonia obliged.
