Demo

We went to London for the day to see the musical about Bob Marley called Get Up Stand Up. It was brilliant if you like Bob Marley and reggae music. The tickets were a Birthday present from me to LooseCanon who loves reggae after spending some time in Jamaica as a student. Perhaps a bit niche if you’re not so keen.
There was huge demonstration and march  in Central London and other cities in the UK against compulsory vaccination for NHS workers.
Personally I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t be vaccinated unless they had a compelling medical case for exemption. However I would stop short at compulsory vaccination for the whole population.
This is shortly going to become a big problem in the NHS because all staff must be vaccinated soon or they won’t be able to work and there are already huge staff shortages. There are calls for the deadline to be extended to give staff more chance to be vaccinated. It will be interesting to see what happens. As far as I know it is still compulsory for NHS staff to have hepatitis B vaccination if they work in patient facing roles.
Extra , London’s Chinatown where we found a great value Chinese buffet place. Home now after a long day.
More travelling tomorrow.
