Nice gentle walk past Dutton Locks

A nice walk along the River Weaver this time heading from Acton Swing Bridge to Dutton Locks and the Horse Bridge located where the original River Weaver route (weir flow back) rejoins the Weaver Navigation, the towpath is carried over by the "Horse Bridge" this is one of the earliest surviving laminated timber structures on the Weaver and consists of two arches both over 100 feet long. It looks even better from the other side of the river but today the sun was heading down behind us when me and Daisy got here.

No doubt we'll be back plenty of times to catch another blip of this bridge.
