Lone tree

A short walk around Tittesworth reservoir, just inside the Peak District, north of Leek.

Still a few remnants of lying snow where it had drifted. But what stood out to me was how washed out the landscape looked. All the colour seemed to have drained from the trees, grass, fields, etc...

There was also little definition to the sky and a very muted sun.

I've heard chiff chaffs in the last few days so may be Spring is on it's way and the landscape will soon colour up!
