I try and get a photo of anything early in the day in case I don’t get out later. Today’s early one was taken outside Grasmere Co-op about 9.30.

Once home with a few essential groceries and other nonessential ones (caramel shortbread and a chocolate swiss roll) I cooked and cooked and washed a mountain of dishes and cooked more and so on. Much is now in the freezer. At least it took my mind off the technology issues.

I opened a bottle of beer too.
