Porthleven

On any other January we might have had a winter storm and seen mighty waves crashing over the town hall clock tower. It's a regular occurrence and we frequently see pictures on the local weather news, you may have seen the more widely.

There's no sign of that this January though so my blip a shot of the clock tower, the pier and a calm sea. It's a pretty little town centred around the harbour and it's the most southerly port in Britain.
