that I've made before at a different time of year. I went on the walk with the intention of snapped the beavers handiwork (extra1).

       As luck would have it when I accompanied Kathy on her walk around the neighbourhood we saw the mule deer on the second loop. This time we had time to stop by and pick up a camera to get some snaps (lame buck in extra2). These are the same group I missed snapping the other week. Seven yearlings; two young bucks (one missing half his antlers); an older buck which is lame; and about half a dozen does one of which is also lame.
