Going With The Flow......

Once again, things at FBC Pflugerville were a little different than we had thought they would be earlier in the week.  Our worship team looked a bit different as Debbie stepped in at the last minute for Ben who texted Daniel this morning that he would not be able to come.  So, yes, the songs were changed a bit, but the most important thing was the same---that we joined hearts and voices in worship and praise to God.  The choir sang and Pastor Wes finished Chapter 2 of Philippians reminding us that we should receive and honor those who are faithful to do what God has asked them to do and that we should faithfully engage in the work and ministry of Christ, especially the ministry of encouragement.  Yes, some people have the spiritual gift of encouragement, but we should all be looking every day for ways to encourage those we come in contact with because we never know what that smile, that kind word, that hug, or that note could mean in one person's life.  When God lays someone on your heart this week, be an encourager!
