Hootie Marshall

A bit of a contrast from yesterday's concert photo, this is Et Tu Brucé at the Royal Victoria pub in Hanwell.

Part of the Hanwell Hootie one day music festival in honour of Jim Marshall, who started selling his famous amps at his music shop in Hanwell.

Earlier in the day the Brian Poole (of ... and the Tremeloes fame), proudly introduced as 'the man who knocked the Beatles off the number one spot', unveiled a plaque at the site of what was the main Marshall shop on Hanwell Broadway.

And yesterday's blip does include a Marshall amp, so there is some connection. How many gigs do you go to where there aren't any Marshall amps?
