A glass by the canal..

It was verily a spring-like day!! I even felt the urge to skip down the garden path! (I succumbed to that urge - since you ask..!)
We took the dogs, daughter, future SIL, and grandson for a walk along the towpath and ended in a lovely canal side pub, The Narrowboat at Weedon.
Such joy!! I feel almost giddy with the thought that we can almost sniff summer now even though spring was a cold, wet, snowy excuse for a season!
Ok, the giddiness may be from two of those large glasses of NZ Sauvy on an empty stomach, but golly it feels good to sit outside and enjoy a drink!! ;-))
