Rosslyn Chapel

I decided to be a real tourist today in Edinburgh and booked tickets for the inside of Rosslyn Chapel after our enjoyable romp round the City, orienteering in the morning. I've never seen a building with so many detailed carvings in my life, it is extraordinary. Carved in the 1400s so many of the carvings are scenes life at the time. One of the extras is a carving of a woman protecting her goose from  a fox. The other is Rosslyn castle, not so well preserved.
If you're not familiar with Rosslyn Chapel but have seen the film The Da Vinci Code, the finale is set in the chapel and lots of scenes were filmed here. The film has done wonders for the fund raising and paid for much needed restoration.
