Coot moot

A coot moot is being held on the Causeway Pool at Leighton Moss.  Or more accurately, an aggressive stand-off that originally involved four coots.  There's nothing cute about coots, they're bruisers, always squabbling amongst themselves.  

Today was even greyer than yesterday, thank goodness for the impossibly high ISOs available on modern digital cameras.  Still, it wasn't bad weather for getting a few things done in the garden this morning.
