Godolphin

Godolphin estate was built from the proceeds of mining for Cornish tin and copper. The Tudor house was one of the grandest houses in Cornwall. Acquired by the National Trust in the 21st century the house needed extensive conservation to the North Range (see extra) to prevent its collapse.

The house is only open at certain times but we enjoyed walking around the grounds (something I always prefer). My main blip is a glimpse of the house from the side garden which I liked best out of today's photos.
