Birthday Sunrise

Today is husband’s birthday, and this is the sky we woke up to this morning . Minutes before, there was a beautiful big shining star. We took it as a good omen. After that it turned out to be a very busy day for both of us. Nevertheless, I managed to bake an orange cake, and I think he felt loved which is what matters the most.
Extra: Egg whites ready to be mixed in with the rest of the cake ingredients for a great fluffy texture.
