Welcome to Country on Australia Day

"Aunty L" navigates a tricky indigenous "Welcome to Country" on Australia Day. A day she and other Indigenous people consider "Invasion Day". Aunty welcomed us as we celebrated the citizenship ceremony of a dear friend from South Korea on Gubbi Gubbi land. It was great to welcome him and other new citizens from diverse backgrounds at Gympie Memorial Park (a rural / ex gold mining city to the north of the Sunshine Coast).
