The pier…

… at Brighton this evening, just before we headed back to the station.

We had wanted to go to Yeovil but £74 each even with our rail cards, plus a change at Salisbury making it a three hour journey, just didn’t fit well. That was the news on Saturday. So a free day today and a spontaneous decision to see the sea. And at £22.10 for the two of us, off we went.

A lovely day exploring. Lots of work going on on the pier but very few people as yet. Harry Ramsden’s fish and chips were delicious. My extra, though very hopefully NOT us yet.
