Day off, relaxing ……

Small lie in (extra hour in bed whilst hubby took the dogs out).

Caleb off to school then straight on to the dentist. Hygienist first - last went before covid entered the UK!, hygienist quite happy with my cleaning. Then followed my half yearly dental check - all ok but a small filling had come out (hadn’t noticed) so he replaced (hence numb right side of face). Love the displays on the wall in the dentist.

On to visit AJ - PPE’d ready, they are all having to stay in their rooms due to the covid outbreak in the home. She was sitting listening to the radio on Alexa, breakfast uneaten but happily drinking tea. She has on/off an issue with excess phlegm which causes some distress. Good conversation, although low mood and tearful at times. Paramedic from the surgery popped in, checked over and things she may need some antibiotics. Left AJ with a nebuliser on.

On to the supermarket, taking back home a lovely coffee. Lunch, feet up then out again. Onto Oscars vets to collect some medication. On the way there, AJ’s care home called to say they had carried out an LFT after I had left and the result is positive. AJ is ok, will continue to stay in her room and be monitored.

On to collect Caleb from school and back home. Our daughter collected Caleb, came in with Austin for a while as he wanted to see nanny grandad. (I kept my distance from the all).

An hour before needing to cook tea - inevitably had a cat nap.
