Cinema trip

Attended a different cinema tonight and this time actually saw a film - Belfast. It was good but not great. Managed to keep us (R, M & I) entertained but didn’t really seem to have a great deal of depth. Theatrical sets seem to be the current vogue in films which creates a feeling that the real story is happening off stage. Therefore (probably intentionally) does not create a sense of realism. It was good to escape from work and the house for a while though, and it was enjoyable for that reason alone.
