The Manuscript of Monte Cassino by Paolozzi

I was pretty much at the PC all day doing varies bits and pieces.  But I did take time out to watch PMQs to hear this week's reasoning from the Prime Minister to the goings on in Downing Street.  Nothing new was forthcoming.

Most MPs were wearing a purple and pink flame lapel badge for Holocaust Memorial Day which is tomorrow.  I was reminded of the magnificent Eduardo Paolozzi three part bronze sculpture in Picardy Place.  The disembodied body parts of a foot, ankle and hand make up this three part giant sculpture. This art work is seen by many as his statement on the horror and futility of war.
