Ginnel of the week

The state of this ginnel makes me sad. I lived in the second house on the right until I was 19. As a small child this was where I played, myself and my friends in the neighbouring houses knew we were allowed in the ginnel and in each other’s gardens, we were not allowed to go any further and someone was always Keenan eye on us. Back in those days the ginnel was immaculate all the fences at a low height and well maintained. A lot has changed in the intervening 35 years and not for the better.
