Marsh

This is a different landscape than the ones I usually post from the Lake District.  In the background is Romney Marsh which 15000 years ago was
 sea.  From where this photo was taken the land could well have been a cliff.  Apparently the sea came as far as the tall trees in the middle ground.  Species of deer are allowed to freely wander over this part of the reserve, mixing with ibex, wildebeest and eland to name a few.  There are shelters for these animals in harsh weather.
