"A nor'easter? Tomorrow?"

Yep, I'm afraid you heard right, Momma Cardinal.  8-12 inches of snow and 40 mph winds are expected tomorrow.  So, eat lots of seeds, have a drink of the warm water at the Back Porch Cafe today and then you and Poppa Cardinal find a good place to shelter.  It isn't going to be a nice day tomorrow.  My "troops" are prepared to deal with whatever comes so Louisa May and I will just wait and see what transpires.
