Worcester

We went to Worcester today for a spot of dog sitting whilst Emma and family took off for a couple of days at Centre Parcs.  After dumping our luggage and a spot of lunch we went for a walk by the river past the cathedral.  There were a lot of swans, hopefully not being affected too much by the avian flu.

We ended up at Goodroots, the cafe attached to the Royal Porcelain Works, home of Royal Worcester.  The weather has been good enough for outside seating.

Then back for the tennis highlights from Australia and a curry tea.

The picture was taken at the gated entry to the cathedral close.  The gates are very old, the original gateway, one of three, date back to the 13th century though I don't think they are that old!
