Farfield Mill

I went to see the new exhibitions at Farfield Mill today. 
The textile exhibition is quite astounding to see,  such incredible fine detail from appliqué and stitching I have never seen the like.
And then the tapestry exhibition is remarkable too, a wide selection of artists and so much variety, with a thematic of ‘silk’ running through it.
I had a chat with Anna and she looked over my sampler and seemed to think I was coming along quite well! Although, after seeing the exhibition I can see there’s an awful lot to learn!
