Steps

Luka Sambe - Pari

Jumping forwards. Fell along the way, but still going.

When I was a kid, and I still do this from time to time, is imagine jumping from object to object like in a video game. Most kids avoid cracks or work around / with patterns and establish rules of engagement with them. Whilst on a train or in the car, see the electric wires outside an imagine skating along them and jumping between gaps. A little strange to picture an “adult” talking like this as childish thoughts are simply that. However, it’s an approach that isn’t hindered by established rules and free to investigate a feeling. Certainly not useful when dealing with public health issues, social welfare and political public interest, or anything requiring emotional neautrality.
