Prestwick

Scottish weather really doesn't make flying in a small plane much fun for at least half of the year. Having been grounded for six weeks Jamie and I made it to Prestwick for tea and a bourbon this morning.

It's one of my favourite landings and really feels like you're at a 'proper airport' (but without the £300+ landing/handling fee of Glasgow!). There were five planes queing to land including a Flybe and a Ryanair. Felt quite satisfying to have them wait for us.

Take my hat off to my wee pilot for coping with what was a manic radio situation.
