Preserved Nature Reserve My Backside

Went for a walk around a nature reserve in Nottingham. Lots of panels abound explaining how the land is ringfenced from the outside world. Lots of information about the various wildlife and landtypes to be found.

What they don't mention is there's a bloody big train line going through it.

I assume it became a reserve long after the establishment of a train line.
