Peculiar effects

This picture is behaving strangely; the sky was not purple.  There should be better pictures later if I can find where my laptop has put them.  

Late morning cycle ride, two of us, to the new bike bridge over 101 then into the Baylands.  Found the pelicans roosting in the usual place.
