Greenwich power station artwork

Spotted a painting of a historic Thames-side vista on the outside wall of the Trafalgar Tavern. The image is interesting as it shows the power station with two taller chimneys at the front.

I researched this image, and learned that the power station was built in phases, with the rear part of the power station built a few years after the first part. As the second pair of chimneys were likely to interfere with some of the instruments in the nearby Greenwich Royal Observatory, they had to be built shorter. A few decades later (after the power station became oil-fired), the front pair were reduced in height to match the rear pair. More information in Wikipedia.
