SUNRISE

Storm Malik was throwing the birds and the clouds about today, and by the time I got over to the old cemetery this afternoon, it was littered with branches and twigs from the big trees. I read online that it had been locked earlier today, for safety presumably. While I was there I did the Big Garden Birdwatch (it's pointless doing it in my bird-free backyard), and managed to tick off quite a few birds. I also finally got around to doing a couple of DIY / maintenance jobs that have been hanging over me for ages, including filling some very tiny gaps near the kitchen door through which slugs occasionally visit at night. They shall no longer pass (I hope).
