Not a bird

It was the RSPB bird count today. You have to count the maximum numbers of birds that you see at one time over a period of an hour. It’s not easy looking through binoculars for an hour. The numbers were one wood pigeon, dunnock, blue tit, nuthatch, robin, field fare, coal tit and 3 blackbirds, 2 great tits, and 2 collared doves.

We’ve then put some fencing up to protect an area of the garden from the dogs.

We’ve then walked to the local supermarket with M and W and cooked a very tasty dinner.

And as I didn’t take any photos of the birds this is one of the orchids.
