Convenience Store #2

We had snow this morning in southeast North Carolina.  Less than a half inch.  By 11:00 am, the sun melted it away.  Tonight it remains bitter cold.

I first saw Karen Casey in person at New York City "Town Hall" in the 90s..  She was performing with a then new group, "Solas", an American based band.  Ive seen her perform many times since in New York City, New Jersey, and most recently in Asheville, North Carolina with John Doyle.   Unfortunately, we missed Karen tonight at the Temple Bar TradFest.
