Logging

Making the most of the cold sunshine we went for another long walk. There has been a lot of logging in these woods, and the heavy machinery has been churning up the tracks. I counted the rings of one felled tree and it was about 90 years old, half a metre in diameter.

I always admire the cottage in the extra. It's very old and is completely hidden away - what a peaceful spot (except when the loggers are in action).
